Chappar faad ke!

Texas hold'em poker is the most addictive game I have played in the recent past. Convince yourself that it isn't a brain-dead game like the other casino games, and get hitched!

The kick is not in winning money (after all who is playing with real money here? I am just using Facebook with its daily bonus of 1000 chips :D), its about winning with a nice hand, or winning a HUGE pot on a bluff.

Though I have not been lucky enough to win the bluff-way, the nice hand finally came yesterday - 4 of a kind, aces that too! It made my day, miraculously increased my productivity at work, and has restored my faith in the benevolence of facebook's poker app :)

A friend has the complete facebook poker app. analysed out. When does a full house fall on the flop. When does a straight come on the table. etc.

The distribution of hands to the players is definitely not random. Too many people end up with pocket Aces, pocket Kings - simultaneously, way too frequently.

For example, I always call any bet pre-flop if I have a pocket 6. On facebook that is. If I do that in real poker - god save my chips.

Yeah, it is definitely not random.

They probably try to maximize user happiness. So someone who has been losing long enough should hope to win soon..

Maybe that is why I got the 4 of a kind that day - cause I had been getting the pocket kings when someone else had the pocket aces, for a long time!
