On becoming fearless - by Arianna Huffington

I read this book on Pradnya's recommendation. And boy, am I glad I did :)

"Fearlessness is not absence of fear" - so damn true. She talks about not conforming to societal cliche's like being 'nice'. She encourages every woman to be a go-getter, to be aggressive, and ofcourse, to be fearless.

Absolutely loved it!

Interesting...would like to read it too!
Am looking for a good book for a long time now...is this promoting feminism or something?

I dont think she promotes feminism as such - does not talk about our rights as women or anything. Infact I think there are sections in the book that apply to both men and women.
Do give it a shot!

@ praj : feminism does not mean 'women rights' - thats a cliche'. I believe, feminism is much more personal than that, may be your feminism differs from mine ...

@payal what i meant was that the book talks about fearlessness in general, and could as well apply to men. Hence, in that sense it is not feministic. But yes, you are right, feminism isn't just about 'humari maange poori karo' :)
